Outdoor Research Women's Ferrosi Plus Size Shorts 9"

As a fat person, you always have to ask yourself if your thighs are going to gobble your shorts while doing any amount of activity. I have never had to worry about that with these which made me say shut up and take my money, OR. I bought these shorts in all three colors and have taken them on multi-day backpacking trips in the High Sierras and the Utah desert and they have been perfect for both. They also are perfect for regular hiking! I've put them through the wringer scooting down slick rock and across granite and they haven't gotten nicked up at all. so comfy, great pockets that are deep enough for snacks and phones, and a great quick drying fabric. Cons: I do not understand the appeal of the built-in belt. It gets twisted in the wash and I have no way, aside from massaging the belt fabric through the shirt fabric, of untwisting it. I would love in future iterations if this could be addressed!

The headline says it all—I am continuously impressed with the comfort and utility of these shorts. I bought one pair and I just keep adding to the collection! These are so comfy to sit around in and excellent for all of your outdoor pursuits. Kayaking? Hiking? Gardening? Backpacking? The 2x comfortably fits size 18w-20w. Great! The material and fit are both fabulous. I love wearing these at the river because they’re comfortable, stay in place and dry quick.
